Dream Adoption Society is an artistic AI studio working at the intersection of performance, theatre, digital dramaturgy and emerging technologies. Founded in 2017 by Krzysztof Garbaczewski. 

AI, performance and the future of presence.

We design artificial intelligences that can enter the space of rehearsal, performance, memory and collective imagination. We work with AI as a new theatrical condition: a system that speaks, remembers, hallucinates, transforms and performs. Artificial intelligence, virtual presence and digital dramaturgy are our tools for rethinking what theatre can become. Dream Adoption Society works with artificial intelligence as a new theatrical medium: a voice, an image, an archive, a system, a ghost, a partner and a machine of transformation. Our practice grows out of theatre, but expands into virtual reality, generative images, live AI systems, digital dramaturgy and cultural education. We create works, tools and situations in which technology is not a spectacle of innovation, but a way of rethinking human presence.
